The collection titled, “Tender Embrace” serves as a reminder of the importance of touch and human connection. Inspired by the loss from the COVID-19 pandemic, the collection nurtures the feeling of loneliness from touch starvation.

Within this collection of sculptural jewelry, each piece is reminiscent of the human form or silhouette, reminding the wearer of those whom they may or may not still be able to touch and relieve the feeling of solitude. When the pieces are worn, body heat transfers to the jewelry, making the wearer feel a “hug” by adorning themselves with the work. This non-traditional “hug” demonstrates to the wearer that human touch is so powerful it can transform something so hard and cold, like metal, to something soft and warm.
